Winter Wonderland Magic

Our Winter Wonderland Fair was a perfect day, bringing our school and extended community together to enjoy the glorious Winter sunshine, live music, local food and stalls, games and rides.

We received lots of positive feedback from families within the school and from the greater community.

This event would not have been possible without our trio of organisers’ dedication, hard work and effort: Zakkiya, Sarah and Jane.

We would also like to extend our thank you to the following:
Cr Susan Biggar, Hawthorn’s Riversdale Ward councillor, for her visit and address
The staff and parents who set up and decorated our school
The school fair committee
The staff, parents and grandparents who baked and made treats for our cake stall
Those who donated to the silent auction
The parents who set up food, mulled wine, plant, silent auction and game stalls and more
Former parents of Erasmus who also contributed to the setup and food stall
Our graduates and current students who either ran their novelty stalls or assisted on the day
Our Years 3 – 6 students who sang for us
Our singer/songwriter who performed live and provided background music
Our staff and Board members who assisted throughout the day
The suppliers of the Crochet items, Food Vans, Ice cream, Ice Skating and Big Slide
Camp Australia, our after school provider
The founder of the School of Philosophy Melbourne, members and students
And to everyone who joined us on the day to help celebrate the coming together of the school community and the opening of our newly refurbished classrooms.

A magical day, and perfect example of our school motto, “Let your light shine”, in action.
