Welcome back to Term 2

Dear Parents and friends,

Welcome back from the term break. I trust you were able to spend quality time with family and friends.
First and foremost, I wish to thank you all for your heartfelt welcome over the last few weeks; lots of hugs, handshakes, full of smiles and conversation.

I have had inspiring and thought-provoking conversations with several people over the last three or so weeks. The topic being ‘self-imposed limiting beliefs’. I don’t believe in coincidences, so I have taken this as a prompt to be more aware of my thoughts. Generally, our decisions and experiences in life are very much steered by what we believe of our capabilities. So, taking the time to question these beliefs can only assist in a better stance before making the next decision or taking that next step.

I challenge you to join me as we take the time, when appropriate, to really break down any thoughts that may be limiting us; our self-imposed limiting beliefs, therefore allowing ourselves to be the best version of ourselves. I would love to hear from anyone who wishes to share their experience(s) with me next time we meet.

At school, Term 2 is packed with a number of events to look forward to. We have our ANZAC day service to start the term, Year 4 Camp Manyung, House Cross-country, Sanskrit competition and more. Last but not least, will be the Year 1 to 6 children and teachers moving into their new classrooms. I am certain we are all looking forward to this!

I look forward to seeing you all at school drop-offs and pick-ups. Stay safe and smile lots.

With gratitude,
Thierry Clarisse
