Terms and Conditions for Extra-Curricular and Private Music Tuition at Erasmus Primary School
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of extra-curricular activities and private music tuition services by Erasmus Primary School (“School”) to students and their parents or legal guardians (“Client”). By enrolling in extra-curricular activities and/or private music tuition at Erasmus Primary School, the Client agrees to comply with these Terms:
1. Registration and Fees:
1.1. Clients must complete the registration process and provide accurate and up-to-date information.
1.2. Tuition fees are to be paid in advance and are non-refundable.
2. Lessons:
2.1. Lessons will be conducted at the agreed-upon location and time.
2.2. Students are expected to attend lessons punctually and be prepared with their musical instruments and any required materials.
3. Cancellation and Rescheduling:
3.1. Parents and students are kindly requested to review the individual activity pages for each teacher’s specific Cancellation and Rescheduling policies. It is the parent’s responsibility to adhere to the terms outlined by the respective teacher for the enrolled activities. Participation implies acceptance of the individual policies set by each teacher.
4. Teacher Absence:
4.1. In the event that a music teacher is unable to conduct a lesson, the School will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the lesson or provide a substitute teacher.
4.2. If the Teacher cancels a scheduled lesson, the Student (or the Student’s parent or carer) may choose between (i) receiving a replacement lesson or (ii) receiving a refund of the lesson fee.
5. Code of Conduct:
5.1. Students and parents must conduct themselves respectfully towards teachers and other students.
5.2. Any inappropriate behaviour may result in immediate termination of lessons without refund.
6. Progress and Feedback:
6.1. Teachers will provide regular feedback on the student’s progress.
6.2. Parents are encouraged to communicate with teachers regarding their child’s development.
7. Termination:
7.1. Either party may terminate lessons with a two-week written notice.
7.2. The School reserves the right to terminate lessons immediately if there is a breach of these Terms.
8. Liability:
8.1. The School is not liable for any loss or damage to personal property during lessons.
8.2. The School is not responsible for any injuries sustained during lessons, except in cases of gross negligence.
9. Force Majeure:
9.1. The School is not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond its control.
