Indian Vocal Music – Term 3, 2026

Sworabitan Academy was initially established in Orissa, India in 1993 by vocalist Krushna Chandra Ray, and in 2007 a Melbourne branch was established under the auspices of the Chandrabhanu Bharatalaya Academy. Sworabitan teaches vocal music from East and North India. The syllabus includes songs, bhajans and ghazals in Sanskrit, Oriya, Bengali and Hindi.

All students welcome.

Dates: 23rd July – 17th September

Lessons: Thursdays, 3:30pm – 4:30pm
