Kew District Swimming Carnival

A squad of five athletes represented Erasmus at the Kew District Swimming Carnival on Wednesday in the Boroondara Sports Complex, North Balwyn. This competition provides a pathway to higher-level competitions: District, Division, Region, and then State for entrants that meet the qualifying times set by School Sport Victoria.

Thank you to the parents who transported and cheered on our squad as they gave it their all. In a wonderful example of resilience, a member of our squad swam on in his race, despite losing his goggles!

Honey (Year 6) qualified to the next level, Division, in both 50 m freestyle and 50 m breaststroke. Congratulations, Honey.
