Preps Visit the Royal Botanic Gardens

In our cross-curricular studies, Prep students have been exploring the central idea ‘How we share the planet – Plants are a life sustaining resource for us and other living things’. To support the children’s learning in this area, our Preps visited the Royal Botanical Gardens last week.
Students were immersed in the magical world of the garden where experience-based learning created connections through gardening, play, the inspiration of story and the child’s imagination. Each program was led by a Royal Botanic Gardens primary teacher.
