ERASMUS does well at GATEWAYS

Four teams of students from Years 3 - 6 competed in the G.A.T.E.WAYS (Gifted and Talented Education, Extension and Enrichment) Challenge last week at Ivanhoe Grammar. The focus was on teamwork over individual performance, so each child had an opportunity to demonstrate leadership in one of the challenges. Strong emphasis was placed on creativity, lateral thinking and problem-solving skills. Our teams performed extremely well across a variety of challenges, displaying strong teamwork to complete each task. Out of 20 teams participating in our district on the day, our fantastic "Team E(rasmus) = mc2”, made up of team members Joshua Q, Kaspar, Nikhil and Shivani, were Runners Up in 2nd Place! Congratulations Team E(rasmus) = mc2!
