Easter Service and Holidays

How quickly the term has gone! Easter and the term holidays are with us in what seems like the blink of an eye.

Throughout the term as I have visited the classrooms or been involved in the teaching and learning programs, I have marvelled at the levels of student engagement and enthusiasm for learning. Our students are thriving being back at school with the stability of the classroom environment and the social interactions of their peers and teachers. Overall, there is a great feeling of happiness!

We have continued our focus on making our virtues real in our interactions with others and the environment around us. We want these virtues to be lived amongst the students so that as they continue to grow and develop, the virtues will help guide them to be to do what they know is right and true. The virtues and our focus on kindness are, to me, like ripples in the water – the more we talk about them, act on them and use them, the further the ripples reach and affect not only us but those around us.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Happy Easter and a safe and restful school holiday period. Please take time to enjoy the company of family and friends. I look forward to seeing everyone back at school on Wednesday 27 April.
